“Telling Our Story (TOS) ” enables USAID collect stories and create a record of how USAID missions around the world bring hope to the lives of individuals, families, and communities. “Telling Our Story” also serves as a resource for the general public interested in how U.S. assistance impacts beneficiary countries.

Mission staff and Implementing Partners share stories and photos about their work, which are featured as a part of the USAID website and other communication material.

Both the core system and IP module of the USAID Nigeria Data Management System include a built-in template for capturing stories using the “Success Story” format. Although the template is primarily configured to capture data in the Success Story format, with slight modification, it can also be used to capture data in the Case Study, First Person, Before and After, Photo and Caption, and Best Practice formats
